THE 2023 INDIGENOUS PEOPLES SUMMIT
ARCHIVE OF EVENTS AUGUST 8-11, 2023
The 2023 Indigenous Peoples Summit took place in August 2023 in Omaha, Nebraska, the ancestral homeland of Umonhon Nation.
The Summit featured performances, presentations in multiple languages, music, interactive panels, meals from Indigenous chefs, a sacred Water Ceremony, and endless opportunities for attendees and leaders alike to meet one another and interact face to face.
The themes of the Summit were: INDIGENOUS WOMANHOOD, SEEDKEEPING, AND REMATRIATION. This event was not live streamed, but videos of the Summit ー along with other archival photos and documents
